Complex interdisciplinary bimaxillary rehabilitation

An extremely complex case that required interdisciplinary rehabilitation in stages. In such cases the establishment of the treatment plan is imperative. The consultation should include specialists from all branches of dentistry (prostheticician, orthodontist, implantologist, dental technician, periodontologist, endodont), so their common vision of the case will be reflected in the aesthetics and long-term success of the work. It was decided to correct vicious intermaxillary relationships and traumatic occlusion by fixed bimaxillary apparatus successive to the extraction of superior premolars, treatment of teeth with deep carious processes, restoration of improper canal treatments, insertion of implants and completion of fully ceramic final restorations including crowns, facets and crowns screwed on implants.
